MATH NUMBER TALKS-
Since we can't be together for Math Number Talk, I am going to present a couple here. Tomorrow, I'll reveal the answers for you to check your thinking. (Try and make this a "shared experience" by explaining your thinking to someone at home.)

Take some time today to draw, color, paint or sculpt. If you like your results and want to share them, take a close picture of it and send it to me for the Blog. Here is a piece of art my (older) daughter made while she has been home during school closure.
WEDNESDAY STORY TIME -
Normally on Wednesdays, you'd have Library for Special. Instead of Mrs. Frey reading you a story today, you'll have to settle for Kiernan Shipka (actress). In an effort to honor Women's History Month (March), here is a story titled, "The House That Jane Built." It is the story of Jane Addams, the first American woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, who transformed a poor neighborhood in Chicago by opening up her house as a community center.
