LEVELING UP IN LEXIA
Mattia and Shealee both "Leveled Up" in Lexia yesterday. Shealee completed her learning adventure in a Hawaiian Paradise and is now headed to a Southwest Fiesta. Mattia finished his learning adventure in the Egyptian Desert and is now headed to the English Garden.

MAKING SENSE OF OTHER PEOPLE'S THINKING
In Math class, we often shared our thinking out loud. Whether it was during Number Talks, Math Menu time, or the Main Lesson, we listened to one another as we shared our understanding of different math problems. We can learn so much from each other! Take a look at the different ways kids used the "area model" of multiplication to solve 18x5. Study them and see if you can understand each students thinking, then try and explain it to someone else.
