On Tuesday, Class 220 had a strong showing on Lexia and Freckle. 15 out of 15 students logged into Freckle and 14 out of 15 logged into Lexia. Woohoo!!!

CALVIN AND HOBBES

Last week, in our Book Share conferences, Coleman shared a book he is enjoying- "Calvin and Hobbes: Revenge Of The Babysat." I also mentioned my love for Calvin and Hobbes somewhere along the way. It's good-natured humor, witty storytelling, 

and the occasional philosophical lesson, all set 

in a context of true friendship. Everyone loves it, 

from kids to adults.

That all said, on one of Tuesday's Class 220 Video Conferences, Arya's screen froze, so she left the call and rejoined, except her "frozen self" remained, and her new video feed was there too, so there were TWO of Arya. I joked that she duplicated herself, which led me to explain to the group one of my favorite Calvin and Hobbes cartoons...
